This project was developed as a final proposal for a temporary site specific installation in Times Square. Our initial proposal was short-listed from nearly 400 entries. Packs and Swarms explores the correlation between swarming behavior in insects and the masses of daily visitors to Times Square each day. The oversized yellow hives create a visual impact on the information-rich landscape while providing unique and focused views of the site.
